Scouts Snow Tubing

December was mostly snow-free so I was very curious what was going to happen on a 40 degree day in January when the Cub Scouts had a snow tubing afternoon planned!   Well, we went slush tubing on the man-made melting snow!   It actually was a lot of fun, because the sun was shining, we weren't cold, and we all got to play with friends.   The kids devised their own games at the end which were more fun than going down the actual tube runs.  The best was when they sat inside a tube - with another over their head - and did a blind run bumper cars sort of game.  No tears or injuries that I recall, so all good!   And no pictures, but I did have a mom-race with my neighbor and friend, Megan.   It was a tie. ;-)
