When I booked the trip I thought it was convenient that it fell over Halloween, since I knew that was a mostly "wasted" school day. But for my 4th grader, he was very disappointed to hear he wouldn't be at school for the party or get to trick-or-treat with his buddies. Luckily I insisted that he get a costume and pack it for the cruise. There were not a ton of kids on board, but the kids club organized a Halloween Trick-or-Treat scavenger hunt throughout the ship and there were a lot of cool decorations. William got a bag of candy and toys and so many yummy desserts from the buffet! It was a fun night!
