This is my most prized photo of our time in Washington. It was taken in October during the White House Garden Tour. In addition to being a lovely picture of The Rose Garden, you can hopefully see the volleyball sitting on the grass where W's dogs, Barney and Miss Beazley, had left it. Jason's parents were visiting this weekend and we were in the right place at the right time to get tickets. We were about 30 seconds too late to see them outside. Secret Service told us they had just gone back inside. We think we caught a glimpse of them through the door to the West Wing. . . .
