Ryan, Jason and I got up early this morning to attend Easter services at the National Cathedral in northwest Washington D.C. We had an absolutely beautiful drive over there just after sunrise. There was virtually no traffic, so it only took about 20 minutes. Our route across the Memorial Bridge and past the monuments, Georgetown and Embassy Row offered breathtaking views that really got us in the spirit of the day.I was very impressed with the service and the wonderful welcome by the Dean of the Cathedral, who drew several chuckles with his opening remarks about the crowd. The cathedral is part of the Episcopal church, so we felt right at home.
