We've got our first home improvement project underway: changing out the shutters from tan (the same color as the siding) to black. As you can see, we're starting with the easy stuff! Actually, there isn't that much to do around the house, so there aren't too many projects planned. I was about two days late photographing the shubbery and flowers, but I hope we manage to keep most of it alive! The previous homeowner was a semi-retired man and his school teacher wife. They had a lot more free time than we did!
